Grilled lemon thyme prawns with premium thyme salt

Ingredients:
- 500 g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp premium thyme salt
- 1 tsp freshly chopped thyme
- 1 garlic clove (chopped)
- Juice and zest of an organic lemon
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 pinch of chili flakes (optional)
- Wooden skewers (if desired)
Preparation:
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped garlic, thyme, thyme salt, pepper and chili flakes.
- Add the shrimp and mix well to coat them in the marinade. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water beforehand.
- Thread the shrimp onto the skewers and grill on a hot grill or in a grill pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Sprinkle with additional thyme salt and serve hot.
Tip: These shrimp taste great with a fresh salad or toasted bread. A glass of white wine perfectly rounds out the flavor experience.
